Redmi Note 8 Variant With 8GB RAM, 256GB Storage
The
Redmi Note 8 variation of 8 GB RAM was seen on TENAA. Redmi Note 8 was
launched in August last year in China and made available in India two
months later. At that time, the phone was only released in the 4 GB RAM
and 6 GB RAM options. Key features of the Redmi Note 8 include square
rear camera configuration with 48-megapixel main camera sensor,
waterdrop style display, dedicated storage expansion microSD card slot,
up to 128GB internal storage and 18W fast charger inside. from the box.
The
Redmi Note 8 TENAA list with model number M1908C3JE shows the addition
of 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. This suggests that the Redmi Note 8
may soon be buying an 8GB + 256GB model. Currently, the flagship model
is the 6 GB variant of RAM + 128 GB and costs Rs. 12,999. The 8 GB + 256
GB model should be priced higher than the current high-end model. There
is no information from Xiaomi about when it plans to release the 8 GB
RAM option. Given it was seen at TENAA, it had to be launched in China
first.
In
India, the price of Redmi Note 8 is Rs. 9,999 to 4 GB + 64 GB model. As
mentioned, the 6 GB + 128 GB model is priced at Rs. 12,999. The phone
is available in Moonlight White, Neptune Blue and Space Black settings
in Amazon India, Mi.com and Mi Home Stores.

As
for specifications, the Redmi Note 8 features a 6.39-inch full-HD+
(1080x2280 pixels) screen. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC,
paired with up to 6GB of RAM, and offers up to 128GB of storage. On the
imaging front, Redmi has added four rear cameras on the Redmi Note 8 – a
48-megapixel primary shooter with f/1.79 aperture, an 8-megapixel
wide-angle shooter with 120-degree field of view and f/2.2 aperture, and
two 2-megapixel cameras (one macro and one depth) with f/2.4 aperture.
There is a 13-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture onboard as
well. Additionally, Redmi Note 8 includes 4,000mAh battery with 18W fast
charging support and an 18W charger inside the box, USB Type-C port,
3.5mm audio jack, and IR blaster.
